2 held for graft

Rajasthan State Beverage Corporation limited (RSBCL) were today arrested for allegedly taking bribe in separates cases, anti-corruption bureau official said.

Rajendra Prasad, posted as RSBC Depot Manager in Ajmer, was arrested when he was allegedly taking bribe of Rs 26,000 from a liquor shop owner, IG ACB T Guite said here.

In other case, a police constable was held by the ACB team while allegedly taking bribe of Rs 10,000 from a person for arresting two accused named by him in an FIR in connection with a fraud.

Meanwhile, suspended IPS officer Rajesh Meena, who was hospitalised here was discharged after three days and sent back to Ajmer Jail.

 

Meena, who the Ajmer SP and arrested last week for graft, was admitted to Sawai Man Singh (SMS) government hospital in Jaipur following complaint of back pain but his test reports were normal, hospital sources said.
