2 held for robbing people of cars posing as policemen

Police today claimed to have nabbed two youths who posed as policemen and stole cars after tying up the drivers at lonely spots.

The arrested youths Upendra of Kotwali city area here, and Mundendra (32), of Iglas police station area of neighbouring Aligarh district, had voters ID made in three different districts, SP (Crime) Udai said.

Police recovered two cars from them and later sent them to jail.

The areas where the gang operated was Moradabad, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr district and the looting business was going on since last 3 years, SP (Crime), Bulandshahr, Saleem Sultan said.
