Two persons including a gangster were today arrested on charges of looting gold and cash totally lakhs of rupees from a jeweller in Jugsalai here in Jharkhand.
The two - Md Imitiaz Warsi alias Chota Chinni and Md Istiyak Warsi - of Old Purulia Road were arrested by a special police team, Senior Superintendent of Police, Amol V Homkar said.
A sum of Rs. 1 lakh in cash, one autorickshaw and a motorcycle - used in committing the crime - were seized from the duo.

Earlier six persons were arrested in connection with the robbery which took place when the gold trader Mintu Karmakar was returning to his lodge in Jugsalai and intercepted by motorcycle-borne miscreants who decamped with his bag containing gold and Rs.85,000 in cash.
