2 Indians rescued from Libya to return home tomorrow

Two Indians, who were rescued after over a year of captivity in war-torn Libya, will return to India tomorrow.

External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup said C BalaramKishan from Telangana and T Gopikrishna from Andhra Pradesh will arrive here in the morning and subsequently will travel to their home towns.

The two Indians were in captivity since July 29 and were released last week, he said.

The two Indians, who were teaching at Libya's Sirte University, were abducted by Islamic State militants in July last year.
