2 injured in fire in chemical factory

Two persons today suffered burn injuries in a fire that broke out in a chemical factory on the Delhi-Agra National Highway.

Fire department officials said the fire in the factory, which manufactures chemicals and plastic products, started this evening. Six fire tenders were rushed to the spot.

Two persons sustained burn injuries in the incident and were rushed to a hospital, they said.

The factory's owner, Girdhari Lal Khandelwal, said, "Sunday being an off day, people didn't spot the flames for quite some time.
