Two persons were today killed and one other was seriously injured when a speeding car rammed into a stationary truck in Makkhanpur area here, police said.
The incident took place this morning when the car carrying Satyendra Jain (62), his wife Rekha Jain (60) and their driver Farman Khan (35) rammed into a truck, they said.
While Satyendra and Khan died on the spot, Rekha was rushed to the hospital, where her condition was stated to be critical.
An FIR has been registered in this connection, they said, adding the bodies have been sent for postmortem.
