Two persons were killed and two others injured when a bus rammed into a tree on Nawada-Gaya road in Bihar's Nawada district, a police officer said.
The mishap took place as the driver lost control while trying to save a cyclist, Superintendent of Police (SP) M.S. Dhillon said.
While two persons died on the spot, two others received serious injuries, he said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
The bus was on way from Gaya to Nawada.
