At least two persons were killed and three others injured when an explosion ripped through a factory in China's eastern Anhui province, state media reported today.
So far, three persons have been rescued while 11 remain unaccounted for, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
The explosion occurred at 5:15 (local time) yesterday afternoon at a factory on an industrial park in Tangshu Township, Shucheng county.
Soon after the explosion, the factory went up in flames.
Police have cordoned off the scene of the incident, and ambulances have begun to arrive.
Fire fighters continue to fight the fire.
