Two persons were killed and three others injured in two road accidents in Bihar's Vaishali district, a police officer said today.
A youth, identified as Mithun Kumar (25) was killed and three others were injured in a collision between two bikes near Akhaybat college on Mahua-Muzaffarpur Road under Mahua police station area this morning, Mahua police station station in-charge Anil Kumar said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and the injured persons admitted to Sadar hospital for treatment, he said.
A biker Lalbabu Rai (62) was crushed to death by a speeding vehicle near Kiratpur village on NH-77 under Bhagwanpur police station area last night, police said.
The angry villages blocked the highway demanding arrest of the driver and compensation to the aggrieved family, they said, adding senior police officers rushed to the spot and pacified the protesters.
