Two persons were killed and five others got injured when a tempo they were travelling in collided with a truck on the outskirts here, police said.
The incident occurred late last evening when the truck hit the tempo coming from the opposite direction at Panki Kalpi road here, they said.
The tempo was carrying six persons out of which two died on the spot and five others, including the driver, have been admitted to a hospital in a serious condition.
The deceased have been identified as Harsh Saini (26) and Sunil Prajapati (30).
The truck driver and cleaner allegedly fled the spot after the accident leaving the truck behind which caused traffic snarls, police said, adding, the investigation into the case is on.
