2 killed, 7 injured in clash over land dispute

Two persons were killed and seven others, including a pregnant woman, injured in a clash between two groups over a land dispute at Pipra Naraian village in Bihar's Siwan district today, a police officer said.

The deceased were identified as Birender Kumar Singh (60) and his son Parmeshwar Kumar Singh (35), Station House Officer (SHO) of Gautambuddha Nagar police station, Lalan Kumar Singh said.

The injured included a pregnant woman, the SHO said.

The bodies were sent to Siwan Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.

No arrests were made so far in connection with the case, he added.
