2 killed by speeding car

Two persons were killed and two others injured when a speeding car, the driver of which was allegedly in an inebriated condition, hit them in outer Delhi's Mongolpuri area, police said today.

Yesterday around 10.30 pm, the car, driven by Ravi (28), who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, hit four people, a senior police official said.

While two of them died, the others, Madan Lal and Ghanshyam are undergoing treatment at Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and LNJP hospital he said.

Lal, who works as a daily labourer, and Ghanshyam, a hawker, were on their way back home when the incident happened.
 

One of the deceased has been identified as Rohan (18), while the identity of the other, aged around 45 years, is yet to be ascertained, the officer said.
