2 killed in accident, cops hurt while rushing them to hospital

Two bike-borne men were today killed after being hit by a truck while two policemen were hurt as they were rushing them to a hospital when the jeep hit a stray animal and overturned in Ranauli area of Sikar district.

Suresh and Leelaram, both 24-year-old, were going from Khandela to Phalsana on their motorbike when a truck hit them from behind, police said.

ASI Bhagirath and jeep driver Rakesh were rushing the two men to a local hospital when their vehicle overturned after hitting a stray animal, injuring them.

While the two men were declared brought dead, the two police personnel were admitted to the hospital in a serious state, they said.
