Two people were killed and another suffered serious injuries after a light aircraft crashed near an airfield in the UK.
Police said a light aircraft come down and overturned in a patch of woodland half a mile south of A303 (road). Police, ambulance crews and paramedics are currently at the scene of the accident near Popham airfield in Hampshire.
A spokeswoman for South Central Ambulance Service said that two people were declared dead at the scene while the third was rushed to hospital.

A Hampshire Fire Department spokesman said that 25 firefighters were dealing with the incident.
The scene was close to a holiday park but the occupants of the aircraft were not believed to be linked to the site, a police spokeswoman said. PTI HSR
She said that inquiries were being carried out to trace the next-of-kin of those involved.
It was not immediately known what led to the crash.
