Two persons were killed while two
others sustained serious injuries when two armed youth allegedly attacked them here at Fatehgarh Churian town in Batala, police said today.
Harmeet Singh, Sarbjot Singh, Sardul Singh and Dilsher Singh were having their food at a dhaba on Thursday night when two armed youths allegedly attacked them with sharp edged weapons, police said.
Harmeet and Sarbjot were killed in the attack while the other two sustained injuries, police said.
However, the reason behind the brutal attack could not be known yet, even as accused were identified as Vishal and Harwinder Singh, police said.
No arrest has been made so far, police said.
