Two persons including a woman were killed and 22 others injured when a bus and a lorry collided head on under Kotwali police station area in Midnapore West district today, police said.
The bus which was going to Medinipur from Keshpur rammed into the lorry at Giridharilal Chawk on NH-7 injuring 24 persons.
Two of them succumbed to their injuries while being taken to hospital, police said adding the identity of the deceased is not yet known.
Of the 22 injured, 12 were admitted to Mednipur Medical College Hospital.
