Two persons were killed and eight
others injured in firing that took place after a clash between two groups allegedly over a dispute related to irrigation in Badagaon area, police said here.
Abhijit (35) and Mahesh (25) were killed last evening during firing between two groups over a dispute related to irrigation in Birguan village, Senior Superintendent of Police Shiv Sagar Singh said.
He said that eight persons from both sides were injured in the clash and were admitted to Medical College here.
Heavy force has been deployed in the village in the wake of the tension following the incident, the SSP said.
