Two people were killed after a vehicle mowed them down on the Delhi-Pauri highway in Shivpuri village in Muzaffarnagar district, police said today.
Rambir Singh, 50, and Ali Hasan, 55, were killed when they were returning home from a cremation last evening, they said.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination.
The driver of the vehicle managed to escape, the police added.
