Two people were killed and three others were seriously injured in two separate accidents in Himachal Pradesh while over 160 cattle died in a fire in the state's Dodra-Kwar area.
In Rampur here, one person was killed and two others injured after being hit by a tractor at Neogli village, police said.
The driver, who was allegedly in an inebriated state, lost control of the vehicle and hit them, they said.

Devendra (40) died on the spot. The injured have been hospitalised, police said, adding that the driver had been arrested.
In another accident in Solan district, one person was killed and another seriously injured when a truck, fell into a deep gorge in Bagha village.
The accident reportedly occurred after the driver, Dhanpat (27), lost control of the vehicle. He died on the spot while one Roop Singh (26) was injured, police said.
In the Dodra-Kwar area, five families were rendered homeless and over 160 cattle were killed after a fire broke out there this morning.
There was no human casualty, as residents had gone to a attended a local fair, police said.
The police said that 155 sheep and goats, four cows and four oxen were killed.
The matter is being probed, they said.
