Two persons were killed and five others sustained injuries in a road accident in south Kashmir's Pulwama district today, police said.
Mohammad Sultan Mir and Mohammad Khalil Mir, both residents of Kupwara in north Kashmir, died on the spot when their SUV was hit by another vehicle near a gurdwara in Awantipora area of Pulwama, they said.
The injured were admitted to hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.
A case has been registered in this regard while the further probes are on, police added.
