Two persons were killed and as many others injured after a police vehicle turned turtle and fell on two separate motorbikes in the district, police said today.
The mishap occurred yesterday at Rasegaon on the Nashik-Dindori road, an official attached to the Dindori police station said.
The police van, which was coming to Nashik, fell on the motorcycles, which were moving in an opposite direction, he said.
The deceased have been identified as Ganesh Pagare (42) and Kashinath Jai (40). The injured are being treated government hospital here, police said, adding investigations are underway.
