2 killed in separate road accidents in Raj

Two people were killed in separate road accidents in Rajasthan today, police said.

In Sirohi city, a man sleeping on a bench was pinned under a driverless truck which rolled back down the slope on the road where it was parked, police said.

The incident occurred outside a milk collection centre.

"The truck was stranded outside the centre without driver when it rolled back down the road and crushed Praveen Meghwal who was sleeping nearby," they said.

In another incident, a pedestrian was killed when a pick-up van hit him in Sikar city.

The deceased was identified as Manoj, the police said.
