Two medical superintendents of government-run hospitals were today transferred by the health department, officials said.
MSVP of IPGME&R and SSKM Prof (Dr) Karabi Boral has been removed and transfered to the NRS Anatomy Department, a notification issued from the health department said today.
Boral would be replaced by Dr (Prof) Manimay Bandyopadhyay, who was the MSVP of the NRS Medical college and Hospital, it stated.
Boral, who took charge of the SSKM this June, made some statements after the fire broke out at the SSKM last month which were apparently not liked by a senior minister.
The notice stated that new MSVP of the NRS would be Professor (Dr) Hasi Dasgupta who was employed at the department of Anatomy of the same medical facility.
