2 militant hideout unearthed in J-K

Troops of 40 Rashtriya Rifles unearthed a hideout in Chaprian area of Sabzian sub-sector in Poonch, officials said.

One pistol, seven grenades, one IED and two RPG shells were among the seized items, they said.

In another case, a joint team of police and Rashtriya Rifles busted a hideout in lower Dharama area in Mendhar tehsil of the same district today, police said.

The recoveries made from the hideout included four Chinese hand grenades and 54 rounds of AK-47 rifle, they said.
