The incident was reported from a temporary room erected on the roof of Lathania Guest House where the family of a servant working there stayed.
Neha (4) and Akansha (11 months) were electrocuted at around 7.30 pm, police said adding a short circuit resulted in the electrocution.
The children were sleeping while their parents, including father Balakram, were working downstairs.
