2 minor girls reported missing from Faridabad

Two teenage girls have gone missing from Faridabad in the past week, police said today.

According to a complaint filed by her father, a resident of Surya Vihar here, the girl left home on February 26 and has not returned since then. The family has searched for her every where but did not find any trace of her.

The complaint under section 365 of the IPC was registered at Sarai Khwaja police station and "we are trying to trace the girl at the earliest," said investigating officer Deshraj.

In the other case, a 16-year-old girl went missing on the same day. He family members waited for her return and then searched for her, but in vein.
 

Her father filed a complaint, suspecting that a resident of Shiv Colony must have lured his daughter to marry him. Investigating Officer Rakesh Kumar said police are trying to find out the whereabouts of the girl and the accused.
