Two motorcycle-borne men were killed after being hit by a car from behind on Chandaniya bypass of the National Highway 27 in Baran district today.
The two victims have been identified as Hariram Sahariya (45), a resident of Nayagaun in Baran district, nd Amar Singh Aheer (38) of Guna district in Madhya Pradesh, SHO of Kelwada Police Station Vijendra Singh said.
The car driver fled after the accident, but the car has been impounded, the officer said, adding the two bodies were handed over to the family members after post-mortem this afternoon.
A case of negligent driving was lodged against the car driver and efforts are underway to nab him, Singh said.
