Two persons were killed and four others seriously injured when the car they were travelling in rammed a stationary truck near here this morning, police said.
The victims, all from a family hailing from Bengaluru, were on their way to Shirdi to visit the Saibaba temple when their vehicle rammed the truck near a primary health centre on the Ahmednagar-Manmad state highway, about six km from here, at around 9.30 am, an official at Rahata police station said.
The deceased were identified as Balkrishna Reddy (55) and Harshad Reddy (22).
The four injured persons were admitted to Saibaba Hospital of Shirdi Sansthan, police added.
