2 officers get Chief Minister's Vigilance Medal

Two officers including Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) have been awarded Chief Minister's Vigilance Medal for displaying conspicuous and exemplary courage in exposing corruption in Jammu and Kashmir for this year.

ADC Srinagar Ghulam Mohammad Dar and Private Secretary to Director of Vigilance Mohammad Hussain will each receive a medal, cash prize of Rs 51,000 and a certificate, an official spokesman said.

He said the government accorded sanction to the award of Chief Minister's Vigilance Medal in favour of the two officers for displaying conspicuous and exemplary courage in exposing corruption and creating awareness against corrupt practices for the year 2013.
