A man and a girl were injured allegedly in a clash between members from two communities over a minor issue at Miranpur town here following which six persons were arrested, police said.
The incident took place last evening after a quarrel between two men turned violent and the members of the two communities got involved, Circle Officer SKS Pratap said.
Stones were pelted during the clash in which the two persons were injured and several vehicles damaged, police said.
Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control, they said.
Additional police force has been deployed in the area, the police said.
