2 police recruits held for using proxy in exam

Two persons were arrested by the Madhya Pradesh Special Task Force for allegedly using fraudulent means to pass a police recruitment examination here.

Sunil Dutt Sharma, a resident of Amabh in Morena district, and Ram Ikhtiyar Singh Gurjar of Bhind were held yesterday after they were found to have used proxy candidates to write their exam,, STF sources said today.

The two had even completed six months of training after the recruitment, they said.

While Sharma received training at the Tighra Police Training School (PTS), Gurjar underwent the process at PTS, Bhind.

The duo was produced yesterday in a court which sent them to judicial custody.
 

The MP Professional Examination Board had conducted the police recruitment exam around two years ago.
