Two police constables were killed when their motorcycle was hit by an unknown vehicle in Kanpur Rural district, police here said today.
The accident took place late last night when police constables Lokendra Verma and Himanshu Sachan, posted at the Jalaun Police Lines, were riding motorcycle on the Akbarpur- Jalaun road in Akbarpur police station area, police said.
Both Verma and Sachan were residents of Musanagar locality of Kanpur Rural district, police added.
