Two Pakistani security officials and three militants of a banned terror outfit were killed today in two separate incidents in the country's restive Balochistan province, an official said.
A spokesperson for the Frontier Corps said the militants and security personnel were killed in an explosion and clashes in the Panjgur and Harnai districts.
"The security personnel were killed in the Khost area of Harnai during a search operation when they stepped on a landmine in the first incident," he said.

"A security official died on the spot, while another sustained serious wounds as a result of the explosion," he added.
The wounded security official succumbed to his wounds while being shifted to the hospital.
The spokesperson said that in another incident, three suspected militants were killed during a clash with security personnel in Panjgur area.
"They belong to a banned outfit. We also recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition with explosives and motorcycles used to carry out terrorist attacks," he added.
