Union Ministers K V Thomas, Kodikunnil Suresh, both from Congress, and Socialist Janata (Democratic) leader M P Veerendra Kumar were among the prominent persons who filed their nomination today for the April 10 Lok Sabha elections in Kerala.
Thomas filed papers from Ernakulam constituency while Suresh filed from Mavelikara and Veerendra Kumar from Palakkad segment before the respective rerurning officers.
N K Preamchandran of RSP, which quit LDF recently and became a part of ruling Congress-led UDF, filed his papers from Kollam.

BJP candidate A N Radhakrishnan, contesting from Ernakulam, filed his papers.
The last date for filing of nominations is March 22 the and scrutiny will take place on March 24 and last date for withdrawing nominations is on March 26.
