2 women raped

Two women, including a juvenile, were allegedly raped in separate incidents by people known to them, police said today. A 15-year-old girl, who ekes out a living by selling flowers and vegetables that grow in their farm, has alleged that she was raped by Rajkumar who works there. A senior police official said the girl has alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Rajkumar a week ago and her medical examination has confirmed rape. Rajkumar was arrested subsequently, he said. In another incident, a 23-year-old woman claimed that one of her neighbours had been raping her at regular intervals after having sexually assaulted her for the first time two months ago. The woman complained that one Khemraj has been raping her at regular intervals. Meanwhile, a 23-year-old newly-married woman went missing from Chandni Chowk metro station last evening. Her husband has lodged a complaint of missing with the police. In another incident of crime against women, two women were harassed by two persons in an inebriated condition. A police official said the victims were having some snacks from a roadside vendor last evening when the accused duo approached them and started passing lewd comments before trying to molest one of them victims. Police said when the beat constables reached the spot to help the victims, they were also attacked.
