Two persons were killed and one severely injured as the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a speeding truck in outer Delhi's Alipur area, police said today.
Sandip, 22, Rampunit, 24, and Chunmun, 22, were riding the bike which was hit by the truck while overtaking it near Bakoli bus stand at around 12 midnight last night.
The trio fell on the road in a pool of blood. A group of Kanwarias rushed two of them to a nearby hospital while the third one, Sandip, was taken to another hospital by the police where he was declared brought dead, a police officer said.

Rampunit died while undergoing treatment while condition of Chunmun was stated to be serious, said the officer.
The truck was intercepted by a traffic police personnel with the help of a biker and its driver Laiq Ahmad and cleaner Dilshad were caught and handed over to the police.
A case has been registered at Alipur police station and the driver has been arrested.
The deceased belonged to Bihar and lived at Alipur village. They were doing mechanical jobs, police said.
