Two youths were today
shot dead by unidentified persons at Lanjipalli Road in the town here today, police said.
While one of the deceased persons was a 32-year old cloth businessman, hailing from Munger district in Bihar, the identity of the other was not known.

The miscreants who were in the first auto, intercepted the last two-wheeler and fired at two of its passengers, police said quoting the auto drivers' version.
The armed miscreants also looted a motorbike of Ch. Naresh Patra, a local man at the gun point, who was passing by the road and escaped from the spot in the bike towards Kamapalli, the bike owner told the police.
The miscreants were speaking in Hindi.
Police seized two rounds of ammunition, two laptop bags, a mobile phone set, some cash from the spot.
"The exact reason behind the incident
were not known", said SP (Berhmpur) Sarthak Sarangi.
Senior police officers, including DIG (southern range) Amitabh Thakur, SP (Berhampur) along with the forces rushed to the spot for investigation.
"We have contacted the family members of one of the deceased at Munger. The members will reach here on Thursday. We are also trying to establish the identity of other deceased," the SP said.
Police detained the auto drivers S.Gopal Reddy and D.Mohan Rao for questioning, he said.
