A blaze in an illegal fire cracker unit in West Bengal's North 24 Parganas district today left 20 persons injured, four of them seriously.
Police said the incident took place at Bhaluka village in the early hours today and was doused by eight fire engines which rushed to the spot.
The tin roof of the illegal cracker factory was blown off under the impact of the fire and the injured included two fire brigade personnel, the police said.

The police said the seriously injured were rushed to a Kolkata hospital, while the rest were admitted to J L Nehru Hospital at Kalyani.
The reason for the fire is being investigated, the police added.
