: A group of 20 students of the University of Madras were briefly detained by police when they protested against the visit of senior BJP leader Tarun Vijay.
Police said no arrests were made but the students were detained and later let off after they protested and raised slogans against the visit of the former Rajya Sabha MP and wanted him to leave.
Vijay was at the varsity to address students of Management on 'Economic Empowerment of Youth.
