Altogether 20 women would take part in the Great Indian Women's Desert Safari, commencing from February 19 at Koteshwar near Bhuj in Gujarat.
Of the 20 members of the team, 14 would be selected by Tata Steel Adventure Foundation (TSAF) while six would be from the Border Security Force (BSF), team leader Bachendri Pal told a press conference here today.
Participants will undergo a specially designed training program organised by the TSAF and the BSF at Bhuj.

The safari, which is scheduled to conclude on March 15, would be a befitting tribute to the BSF on its Golden Jubilee, said Pal, who had led a similar expedition in 2007 from Bhuj to the Wagha Border.
