Sadia Yousuf (3/30), Asmavia Iqbal (2/36) and Sumaiya Siddiqi (1/27) shared six wickets among them as Pakistan dismissed title contenders Australia for 175 in 46.1 overs after they decided to bat first.

But the Australians returned to shot out Pakistan for a paltry 84 in 33.2 overs, thanks to some good bowling from SJ Coyte (3/20), EA Perry (2/18), LC Sthalekar (2/19) and HL Ferling (2/10).

However, despite the lose, Pakistani bowlers earned praise from both the teams.

While Pakistan captain Sana Mir praised the bowlers terming their performance as the "best ever" against Australia, the opposition captain Jodie M Fields said: "They bowled very well this time."

Sana Mir, however, blamed the batters saying: "It was more of a bad shot selection by all of them."

"We bowled and fielded exceptionally well today to restrict Australia to 175 and, I think we should have chased the score," Mir said at the post match press conference.

Though her team won the match by 91 runs against Pakistan, Australia captain Judie M Fields realised the need of more runs.

Judie said, "Every match is different and every pitch is a different turf."

She, however, said his team will take necessary steps for improvement ahead of their matches against South Africa and New Zealand.
