At least 20 women were injured, four of them seriously, when a van carrying them overturned near Karlaguda in Odisha's Kalahandi district Tuesday, a police officer said.
The women were on their way to Cheliamal village from Bhawanipatna station when their vehicle turned turtle on National Highway-26 after losing balance, he said.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors stated the condition of four women to be "serious", the officer said.
The four women were then shifted to VSS Institute of Medical Sciences and Research at Burla in Sambalpur, he added.
