A 20-year-old youth has been killed and two others injured seriously when their motorcycle rammed into a government bus near here after hitting a swine, police said today.
Mohan was returning from a temple festival along with two Mariselvam and Krishna last night when the accident occurred last night, police said.
After hitting a swine on the road, he lost control of the bike and rammed into a government bus proceeding to Madurai, police said.
In the impact, the three were thrown off the vehicle.
While Mohan died on the spot, the others were admitted to Ramanathapuram government hospital, where their condition is said to be critical, they added.
