21 rescued Bengali tourists from J-K to return home soon

Rescued by the Indian Air Force from Pahalgam in flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir, the 21 stranded Bengali tourists would soon return home, West Bengal Urban Development Minister Firhad Hakim said here today.

Hakim said that the state's Resident Commissioner in Delhi had informed him of this.

Hakim said that one of the rescued Madhabi Dutta and her family would return tonight by air because of illness.

However, the remaining tourists would return by train, he said.
