Twenty-two Kendriya Vidyalayas in Bihar do not have their own buildings and are running in temporary accommodations, Rajya Sabha was informed today.
"22 Kendriya Vidyalayas in Bihar do not have their own buildings and are running in temporary acommodations provided by sponsoring authorities," Minister of State for HRD Upendra Kushwaha said in a written reply.
The minister also said KV Buxar was started in 2003-04 with the sponsorship of Bihar government and an assurance was given to provide land free of cost for construction of a permanent building.

The land, however, has not been provided by the state government, Kushwaha said.
"The matter relating to transfer of land for KV Buxar and other KVs of Bihar was taken up with the state government of Bihar from time to time by KV Sangathan as well as by the HRD Ministry," he said.
The latest such communication has been sent on May 25, he added.
