A 22-year-old married woman has accused her stepfather of raping her in Ganganagar district of Rajasthan.
The woman lodged an FIR last night against her stepfather Darshan Singh (45) for raping her on the night of May 17, police said today.
"The woman, deserted by her husband, had been staying with her parents for the last few days.
"On May 17, her mother was not present in the house when Darshan Singh allegedly raped her," the Raisinghpur police station SHO said.
Police are investigating the matter, the SHO said, adding the accused has not been arrested so far.
