Amid tight security, 226 polling parties were today dispatched to far-flung booths in four Assembly constituencies in Doda and Ramban districts of Jammu and Kashmir for first phase of polling on November 25.
154 polling parties were dispatched to their respective polling stations, which include 85 polling parties for Bhaderwah Assembly constituency and 69 for Doda Assembly constituency, an official spokesman said.
There are 291 polling stations in Doda, including 152 in Bhaderwah Assembly constituency, and 139 in Doda Assembly constituency, he said.

Security personal from Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Para-Military Forces were deployed along with the polling parties, he said.
In Ramban district, which has two Assembly seats, 74 polling parties including 46 for Ramban and 28 for Banihal constituencies have been dispatched, the spokesman added.
