As many as 23 people allegedly engaged in illegal activities were arrested from different places in Ganjam district during a crackdown on criminals, police said today.
Six revolvers, ten rounds of ammunition and bombs were seized from those arrested during the operation conducted yesterday, they said.
"Those arrested have cases pending against them under the jurisdiction of Polasara, Patapur, Bhanjanagar and Sorada police stations", said Superintendent of Police (Ganjam) Asish Kumar Singh.
