Twenty three people were injured, two of them seriously, in a collision involving a Kasargod-bound KSRTC bus and a private one this afternoon at Kannur, police said.
The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation bus was on its way from Kannur while the other one was proceeding in the opposite direction from Payyanur when the accident occurred near Kannur central jail.
The seriously injured passengers have been admitted to the intensive care unit while the others were treated as outpatients at the AKG memorial hospital in Kannur, they said.
