Actress Christina Chong, who was recently seen on '24: Live Another Day', is the latest celebrity to join 'Star Wars Episode VII'.
The British actress' character is still unknown, but it is reportedly a minor role, reported Ace Showbiz.
The seventh installment of 'Star Wars' franchise is slated for December 18, 2015.
The crew is taking a two-week hiatus in August while adjustments to the current production schedule are made as Harrison Ford recovers from a leg injury.
Returning cast includes Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will be joined by new faces such as John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie, Crystal Clarke, and Pip Andersen.
